The program of this social housing project as well as its specific emplacement at the junction of the old neighborhood of Hostafrancs and the ensemble of the Barcelona's main railway station are determinant for the project’s develoment.

Due to its location, the building acts as a fassade (front) towards a big open space (the bus terminal adjacent to the station), as an important corner and as a border between the old neighborhood and the station.
